Valentine's Gifts

This are the cute cards and presents I made this year for our friends. Really simple to make and quick. I would love to send one of this to family and friends in the States. I hope next year i can plan better and them ahead of time so i can have time to send a card made by me to the special people in my life.

Valentine's weekend

It has been really cold and snowing non stop for the last 3 weeks. Germans say it hasn't been this cold in Mannheim since 1996. I can't imagine how cold might be in north Germany. I can't wait wait for Spring to come. Germany has trees everywhere and it is beautiful in Spring and Summer time.

So this year for Valentine's Day we stayed at the Hirschhorn Castle. The castle is located only 40 minutes from our home and is in a really small but beautiful city. Hirschhorn is a very old city that existed since the 1300 hundreds.

We had such a great time, we got a room in the castle to stay and a fancy dinner and tour of the city for a really good price. It was a really romantic experience to enjoy your Valetine's night in a Castle. Jared is the best hubby in the world. I love him so much :)

Our home in Germany

It is weird to say but Germany feels like home for us. Maybe because this is our first home for me and Jared living together. We love the community here, but more than anything our ward at church. It is nice to have the church anywhere we are, it is also nice that our ward it's a military ward. Members at our ward do not only share the same religious believes but also the army life. We had made great friends here, we are really blessed of  having this people on our lives.
