You gotta love the faces this kid makes every time he tries something new, this picture are from last year. Wow it feels really weird to say "last year" time is going by so so fast. Enjoy:

Halloween 2010
I know this should've been a post for 4 months ago but I'm a busy mother ;), but i can't leave out a picture of my baby's first Halloween. Isn't he so cute?? oh how I love those cheeks
Galveston, Texas
As always I'm way behind on the blog. So many things I have/want to do, I feel i can't keep up. Nathan is getting better at eating solids so feeding time doesn'tt last 45 minutes anymore. So far he likes everything but green beans. Anyways, on November we took a trip to Galveston, TX to visit my mom, sister and her family. We had a great great time with them. We enjoyed Texas so much and the weather was so so nice. (sigh) I miss the sun so much :(.
Jared enjoyed the time off so much and tok many naps with baby Nathan. Don't you love those chubby legs. I love to see my boys like this, they look so peaceful.
The nicest thing about being in Galveston was to spend part of Thanksgiving day at the beach, the weather was so nice that we just enjoyed feeling the cool breeze, the boys threw the football for a while until it was time to go make some dinner for us.
We had a great time and miss these guys lots, We are hoping to move to Texas to be closer to them and also to Albuquerque. Miss you miss you so much and thank you for having us.

Christmas 2010
This year we spent Christmas Eve with our wonderful friends The Ramirez's. We had delicious food, good music, and great company of course. We even played the game white elephant which was really fun.
I love this couple so much, they are like family to me.
And Nathan was ready to go to bed, can you see it on his face???
I can't complain even though the weather has been horrible around here we had a wonderful Holidays. I love my friends here in Germany so much, they are like family to us.
This is our last Christmas in Germany and we are not looking forward to moving this September. But we are also happy we can be closer to family. I want to remember the wonderful people we've met here and hope to always keep in touch with them.

Today is a really exciting day for me :). My mom finally is coming to stay with us (meaning in the States with my sister and I) permanently and I have waited for this day for a really long time, four years to be exact. I'm so excited and happy that I can't describe it. I haven't seem my mom in four years and that's a really long long time for me. I think everybody needs their mommy every once in a while and it has been really hard to have her so far away. But that is over now I can visit my mom often, I know we live in Germany but only for 10 more months and then I will be a lot closer.
She arrives today, maybe she already did as I'm writing this post. I won't get to see her until next weekend when me and little Nathan fly to Houston to stay a couple of weeks at my sister's and Jared is meeting us a week later. I'm so excited also for my mom to meet Nathan and Jared and for my hubby to meet her. I know there will be some or a lot language barriers but it is sweet to know that my mom knows how much Jared loves her and Jared knows she loves him also.
Well I'm calling my sister in a little bit to find out if she was reunited with my mom or if she is still waiting, I would have loved to be there with them but I'm thousand of miles away, the good thing is that she is here with us and we are not letting her go anywhere.
I love you mom more than words can describe and I hope someday you can read this post on your own :)

Luxembourg and Belgium
On September we took a trip to Luxembourg and Belgium. We have friends in Belgium and went to spent 4 days with them but on our way day we stopped in Luxembourg for the day. Luxembourg is a small country and the capital also called Luxembourg was a neat place. He took a bus tour and sought most of the city. About 4pm we were headed to Belgium, our gps said it was 2 hours away but oh boy! we had like 4 traffic jams caused by construction. So the trip ended up being like 3 hours almost instead of two, I know that doesn't sound like a long trip but we were afraid that Nathan would woke up when we were stopped in the road and start crying because that boy for sure hates his carseat.
We arrived just in time for dinner, our friend Kelly made tacos. But I'm not talking about ordinary tacos that you make when you want a quick easy dinner. She had made like 10 different toppings for your tacos, mexican rice and other things. I wish i could've taken a picture so you can see what I'm talking about.
Anyways we relaxed that night and talked and talked until it was time to go to bed. next morning we headed to Brussels, just Jared, Nathan and me. Dan went to work and Kelly homeschools five of her six children. She walked us to the train station and we were on our way to Brussels which is only 25 min away by train.
Brussel's Grand Place is beautiful, pictures can't describe how amazing that place is and I wish I had a nicer camera to capture all the beautiful places we have been. And this was one of those times when a really nice camera would have been nice to have.
